Welcome! I am so glad you have made your way a little deeper into our website, and I pray that it has been a blessing and resource to you already! As the picture shows above, my name is Brandt Jones, I am the Pastor of the wonderful people of Providence Baptist Church. I began my journey here on January 5th, 2025, and we have been welcomed as family ever since. If you are considering joining us for worship, I know that you will treated the same!

I was born in Danville, IL to Albert and Sherryll Jones in March of 2000. I was blessed to be raised in the house of a pastor and a very faithful mother. From the moment my parents desired children until the day I left home, I was raised in a home that was focused on our Savior. I was raised in Williamsburg, Kentucky when my father accepted the call to a local church in Southeastern Kentucky. My mother would say I am northern by birth, but southern by the grace of God! Small town has been my entire life, moving to Irvine, specifically Winston, has been an absolute blessing. When I was six years old, at my bedside, I turned my life over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was blessed to have many that came around me and discipled me at such a young age. To my knowledge there is still a cinder block in the baptistry of that old sanctuary where I had to stand on it to see over the front ledge. Through discipleship by my senior pastor, my father (Who was my youth pastor), and many mentors it was made clear to me that God had placed a call on my life to follow Him into ministry. On June 25th, 2015 I turned my life over to full-time vocational ministry, letting God begin to direct my path on where that would be. This led me to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College where I studied and trained until my graduation in 2022. In my Freshman year, God made it clear to me that His call on my life was to Pastor, and I surrendered to that on August 12, 2018 and was Licensed to the Gospel Ministry on September 16th, 2018. I was blessed during my time at Clear Creek to fill the pulpit of many churches, many of those with great men of God that greatly impacted me to be the preacher and pastor I am today. During my Junior year, God opened the door for my first Ministry Assignment as an Interim Pastor in McCreary County, Kentucky. It was here, after graduating, that I would be planted, marry my lovely wife, Amanda, and begin our family on May 21, 2022. God opened many doors as I began ministry, one of those introducing me to Amanda and her family. Amanda was also born into a Pastor’s home and was raised in the ministry also. Together we have been able to challenge and move in each other's lives to grow to be more like Christ, and stronger sharers of the Word. We welcomed our daughter, Brynlee, into the World in February of 2023, and our son, JohnLuke, in April of 2024. Through much prayer God opened the door for us to be introduced to Providence Baptist Church and accept the call here on December 8th, 2024. We have been blessed to walk with God and follow Him here to PBC. I encourage you to come and visit us and meet the wonderful people here.
